Do The White Thing
Race Card item by Larry Wilke

As the battle lines appear to be being drawn from the left side of the ledger relative to the “Shampaign ‘12”, the rest of us need to understand that the progressive paradigm has “changed”..  In 2008, the Marxist modus operandi was to “create” a Democratic dossier for the insignificant Illinois pseudo-Senator and to surround that phantasm with the “helium of Hope”.  Now the left needs to RUN from the Democratic dossier of damage created ENTIRELY by Obama and his collectivist caliphate.  There is no better way to accomplish this despicable goal from the liberal perspective than to resort to the tried and true Democratic deviousness of dealing the race card.  You knew that this day was coming..

600 More Days of Obama
ObamaNation item by Alan Caruba

As of May 30, 2011, America has 600 days more of rule by President Barack Hussein Obama. He is the 44th President and, while we have had incompetent Presidents in the past, we have never had one determined to destroy the nation. It has taken more than two years for most sentient Americans to grasp this extraordinary threat. He has not solved problems. He has exacerbated them.

Global Warming News from the Brits
GreeenIsm item by Dennis T. Avery

My colleague Bennie Peiser, of Britain’s Global Warming Policy Foundation, offers some of his latest man-made global warming news:
The Sunday Times noted on May 22 that the UK government has agreed to cut its greenhouse emissions 50 percent by 2027. As a result, “Tata Steel last week announced it was cutting 1,500 jobs at its Scunthorpe and Teeside plants. The company, which employs 21,000 in Britain, has held high-level talks with government in recent weeks over its energy plans. . . . Ineos founder Jim Ratcliffe warned that he could be forced to shut the firm’s Runcorn chlorine plant, a big energy user . . .  and employer of more than 1,000 people. According to Civitas [the think tank] . . . total energy bills . . . could rise by 141 percent by 2020.”

‘Where’s the Outrage?’
Constitution/Republic item by Dr. Robert Owens

In the best line of a lackluster campaign Bob Dole challenged the voters who were swallowing the liberal line of the Corporations Once Known as the Mainstream Media.  At the time they were carrying the water for Bill Clinton in the 1996 election.  By that time Mr. Clinton’s Bimbo Eruptions and complete lack of ethics had become common knowledge but the unengaged in fly-over country were lapping up the Clinton mantra “Character Doesn’t Matter” and preparing to not vote in droves.

Government Cannot Be Trusted To Police Itself
Freedom and Liberty item by Chuck Baldwin

So many of the words and warnings delivered by America’s Founding Fathers are appropriate for today. Consider this sage counsel from America’s first and greatest President, George Washington: “Government is not reason; it is not eloquence; it is force! Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.” I was reminded of these words when I read the following report out of the State of Indiana.

US Police State Begins Exponential Expansion
Police State item by Sher Zieve

The recent Indiana Supreme Court ruling against the US Constitution, rendering the Fourth Amendment null and void in that State by patently leftist activist judges, is only the latest unconscionable step in a series of actions designed to unravel each and every portion of the Bill of Rights.  It is also one of the latest actions designed to compliment and enhance the already jack-booted Obama police State march into our States, our cities and homes.  Soon US citizens will have no rights—whatsoever—unless they are doled out by the USSA Meneur or Commandant du jour.  Currently, that is the Obama/Soros syndicate which is now acting as the US‘ Dictator-and-agitator-in-chief.

Why America Needs Governor Perry To Run
Elections item by Christopher G. Adamo

So far in this presidential election cycle, the Republicans are off to a less than rousing start. Primarily, their weakness results from an inability to coalesce around a single believable conservative candidate. An enormous and highly visible momentum is needed to rally the nation in a coordinated push against the Obama agenda. And while several credible and sincere conservatives are in the race, none among them has yet been able to convince any major segment of the population of a unique ability to do so.

‘Are Climate Models Lying About Food Too?’
GreeenIsm item by Dennis T. Avery

Computer models at Stanford University have just “told” us that man-made global warming has already sapped some of the yield potential from our food crops. They say wheat yields would have been 5.5 percent higher since 1980 without the earthly warming; corn yields would have been 3.8 percent higher.

U.S. Congress Working Against American Workers
Trade Policy item by Frosty Wooldridge

After my latest column, “ILLUSION OF OBAMA AND CONGRESS EMPLOYING 15 MILLION UNEMPLOYED,” Barry McKenna, President of McKenna Service Company, spoke about the history of our massive unemployment problem.

A Bubbling Cauldron of Passion
Politics item by John LeBoutillier

Today’s Right - Republican voters, Tea Party voters and conservative voters – together these voting groups constitute probably more than 40% of the nation today – are teeming with so much emotion that they want to explode in November 2012.

Why opposition against voter ID is indefensible
Elections item by Robert E. Meyer

Recently the legislature in the state of Wisconsin passed a law requiring ID to vote, with certain specified exceptions. Many people have voiced their opinion opposing requiring voter identification. I have trouble understanding those objections.

Bogus Sex Scares Used to Ban BPA - The BPA File, Part Five
GreeenIsm item by Alan Caruba

Over the course of the first four elements of The BPA File, we have documented a massive, global campaign to ban bisphenol-A, BPA, a chemical that has been safely used for more than a half century to protect metal and plastic containers for food and liquid against spoilage and the resulting hazard to health.

Reaction to Obama Betrayal of Israel: Mr. President, Your Helicopter Is Ready
ObamaNation item by John W. Lillpop

With the nation, his presidency, and the American democracy in shambles, is it not time for Barack Hussein Obama to face reality and spare the nation yet another two years of grief?

The Constitution Failed
Constitution/Republic item by Dr. Robert Owens

People often ask me, “How could you write a book entitled ‘The Constitution Failed’?” If the Constitution was written to ensure a limited government and if today we have an unlimited central government my question is, “How can anyone contend that the Constitution hasn’t failed?”

The United States of Stupid
EdukShun item by Alan Caruba

In 1983, the National Commission on Excellence in Education released a report titled “A Nation at Risk” that documented nationwide failure in American schools. Not much has changed since then and the federal takeover of school curriculums and testing methods has mercilessly continued with the Bush administration’s No Child Left Behind and the Obama administration’s Race to the Top.

Readers Have Last Word on Pastor Scandal on Last Day Before End of World
Religion item by Rev. Austin Miles

This is being typed as rapidly as possible since tomorrow, Saturday, May 21st, the world will end, according to American Family Radio Host, Harold Camping. Yep, we’ll all go ‘poof.’ Since this is our final day, it is a good time to let readers have the final word about the Suicide of Jerry Hanoum that has dominated the news.

Revenge Of The “Ruling Class”
Elitists item by Christopher G. Adamo

On May 10, 2011 a Wyoming grassroots organization created a political firestorm within the state’s Republican Party by sending an e-mail to its office holders that asked two highly inflammatory questions, along with a declaration of its intentions to publicize any responses to those questions. Furthermore, having dealt for years with the standard liberal tactic of officials who dodged queries of this type by simply ignoring them, the organization also advised recipients that non-responses would be regarded as negatives.
